| In 1997 Patrick Rodriguez graduated from Harvard Law School with honors. After taking the Texas Bar Exam he began working as a briefing attorney for the Honorable Jorge A. Solis, United States District Judge for the Northern District of Texas, Dallas Division. After this year-long clerkship, Mr. Rodriguez became an associate in the law firm of Rodriguez, Colvin & Chaney, L.L.P. where practiced primarily as a civil defense attorney representing mainly self-insured entities in complex personal injury matters. In 2005, Mr. Rodriguez became a partner at Rodriguez, Colvin, Chaney & Saenz, L.L.P. In September 2007, he left private practice to become briefing attorney for the Honorable John William Black, United States Magistrate for the Southern District of Texas, Brownsville Division. In September 2008, Patrick became Of Counsel to the firm of Rodriguez & Nicolas, L.L.P.
