Henri Nicolas graduated from St. John’s College in Annapolis, Maryland. After traveling and working abroad, he then returned to Texas and graduated from The University of Texas School of Law with Honors in 1999. While in law school, he was a member of The Texas Law Review and the Legal Research Board. Directly after law school, Mr. Nicolas served as a law clerk to the Honorable Hilda G. Tagle, United States District Judge for the Southern District of Texas in Brownsville.
After his federal judicial clerkship, Mr. Nicolas became an associate in the Los Angeles office of Susman Godfrey L.L.P., a Houston-based law firm with a nationwide complex litigation practice.
In 2002, Mr. Nicolas returned to Brownsville to serve as Judge Tagle’s permanent clerk, which he did prior to forming Rodriguez & Nicolas, L.L.P. Mr. Nicolas focuses his practice on complex litigation, commercial litigation, and construction law. Mr. Nicolas represents both plaintiffs and defendants in federal and state court in South Texas.
